Take Step Two

There are lots of ways to Take Step Two:

• Learn if there is a greenway or bicycle/pedestrian plan for active transportation in your community and how the plan is being carried out by contacting your local planning agency or local parks and recreation.
• Find out what topics are on the agenda for next planning meetings by going to your planning website.
• Build support for greenways at public meetings and in public forums.
• Join a group that volunteer to maintain and promote use of greenways through way finding signs, creating walking groups at worksites or community based organizations.
